Al-Nasla Rock

Located in Tayma Oasis in northwestern Saudi Arabia, this remarkable rock formation is famous for its perfectly straight vertical split down the middle, giving it the striking appearance of having been cut with a precise laser.

Each half of the massive rock rests delicately on its own small natural pedestal, creating a gravity-defying view that fascinates visitors. The site also holds historical significance, as the rock is adorned with ancient petroglyphs depicting horses and human figures dating back thousands of years.

Despite its seemingly artificial appearance, geologists believe the split is a natural phenomenon caused by tectonic shifts or a process known as jointing in the sandstone.
