Day 1: Zagreb
Arrival in Zagreb and transfer to the hotel, after lunch the tour guide arrives from Slovenia and takes us on a tour around the city to admire the hills and neighborhoods of the Croatian capital and have dinner.
Day 2: Zagreb – Maglaj – Sarajevo
We travel early in the morning to Bosnia, and upon arrival at our destination, we wander around the neighborhoods of the village of Majlaj until lunchtime. Then we move to the city of Sarajevo and our guide takes us on a sightseeing tour of the ancient country. Our program also includes a visit to the “Tunnel of Hope” that preserved the city during the Serbian siege during the war. Then we have dinner.
Day 3: Sarajevo – Mostar – Medjugorje – Kravica – Dubrovnik
We will have a pleasant tour full of beautiful scenery, as we travel to Mostar, passing through deep valleys and seeing its distinctive historical center and the rock bridge that separates the Orthodox, Muslim and Catholic communities. After lunch, we will stop in Medjugorje; one of the most important destinations for Catholic pilgrims. Then we will continue our journey towards Dubrovnik to see its amazing waterfall. Followed by a trip to Dubrovnik, arriving at the end of the day and spending the night in a coastal place near the city.
Day 4: Dubrovnik
A tour around one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: Dubrovnik, a walled city with an ancient historical center located on the Adriatic coast and considered one of the jewels of the world's architectural heritage. The tour includes a visit to the Franciscan Monastery, which houses the oldest pharmacy in Europe. We will also visit Dubrovnik Cathedral and Sponza Palace, take a cable car ride and then free time for a walk, then return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 5: Spilt
Today we travel along the Croatian coast to Split, where we go with our guide to the Roman-era Diocletian's Palace, stroll through the beautiful streets of the city, and have dinner.
Day 6: Split – Plitvice – Opatijana
Today we move into the interior of Croatia and cross beautiful hills to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvice Lakes National Park (entrance tickets included) where we take a boat tour through the waters and waterfalls. After lunch, we head to northern Croatia to Opatija for dinner and an unforgettable night in the village resort.
Day 7: Opatija – Postjona – Bled – Ljubljana
Today we visit Slovenia and go to Postojna, which has one of the largest caves in the world and can be visited by train. After that, we head to the ancient village of Bled, located on the shores of a lake, where there is a standing bell tower of one of the monasteries of a medieval castle. We take a boat tour around Lake Bled and visit the island monastery there. Then we continue our journey to the capital of Slovenia, the small Ljubljana, where we stroll around and have dinner.
Day 8: Ljubljana – Maribor – Zagreb
Today we make our way to one of the most important cities in Slovenia, influenced by Austrian culture: Maribor, where we visit its cathedral and its distinctive castle. Then we return to Croatia and arrive in Zagreb at 3 pm.
Day 9: Zagreb
Preparing to leave for the homeland.
